Who can apply?
Organisations that exist for public good and community benefit and have a written constitution, memorandum and articles of association or statutory powers. This includes; Voluntary Clubs and Associations, Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, Schools, Colleges and Universities, Charitable Trusts, Commercial Organisations and Professional Sports Clubs but only if the project is not for personal or shareholders' gain.

Funding Priorities:
- Projects that increase the number of people that play sport, coach sport or volunteer in sport; Projects that are about people (revenue funding) rather than places (capital funding)
- Multisport projects not single sport projects that target under represented groups to participate in sport i.e. women and girls, people with disabilities, people from black and ethnic minority communities, people over 45 and people from deprived communities
- Projects that develop new strong partnerships
- Projects that meet local needs
- Projects that help create a strong sports system.
