Funding Priorities:
EM Media distributes Lottery funds on behalf of the UK Film Council and also invests European Regional Development Funds in a range of projects and programmes. EM Media’s main areas of investment and support are audience and market development, talent development and business and skills development.
There are four broad areas of projects and activities that EM Media invests in:
- Talent, Product Development and Production Script development, slate development, individual production awards and production co-finance.
- Audience and Market Development Projects that develop audiences for film and media, knowledge and understanding of film and media and/or assist getting film and media products to market.
- Business Development Investment in small to medium sized enterprises to develop business practices and growth.
- Skills Development Individual and company development awards for mentoring, training and consultancy
