Funding Priorities:
- The Vickers Art Award is a biennial award which brings a rising artist to Derbyshire for a year's residency.
- The artist is asked to produce a collection of new work inspired by the landscape, heritage and people of Derbyshire. In 2005-06 the theme was 'County of Contrasts' and Award winner Helena Ben-Zenou produced a collection of large paintings contrasting rural and urban industry.
