Contact your chosen funder
In principal all thematic areas may be supported but there must be a specific benefit to the development of the arts and culture and the project must meet at least one of the Arts Council’s 5 ambitions listed below.

Who can apply?
Individuals, arts organisations, voluntary and community organisations, youth groups, partnerships, local authorities - in fact anyone doing an arts related project that has some benefit in England.
Does the funder require match funder?
Pound for pound match funding is not required, however the Arts Council do like to see at least 10% partnership funding.
Funding Priorities:
Arts Council England has five ambitions. Eligible applications have to meet at least one of them:
- Enable organisatons to thrive, not just survive
- Champion cultural diversity
- Offer opportunities for young people
